Hand geometry readers provide an effective solution for tracking time and attendance and workforce management.  They  eliminate the time and potential errors of manually calculating employee hours.  HandPunch readers eliminate the act of employees "buddy punching" or clocking-in/out for each other, because each worker will be identified by the physical characteristics of their hand.
 
Hand Geometry Terminals Accurately tracking employee time and attendance, and eliminating costly payroll and administrative mistakes is easy with a Schlage HandPunch biometric device.  Schlage's HandPunch readers measure the size and shape of a user's hand, including length, width, thickness, and surface area to verify identify for time and attendance and workforce management applications.  The user simply enters a unique ID number on the keypad, and places his hand on the platen to verify identity.  Upon successful verification, the user is allowed to punch in the time and attendance system.

  Product How to Choose
  HandPunch GT-400 Matched with a software provider, the GT-400 is the ultimate workforce management solution.  With a large display field and programmable ATM-style soft keys, the GT-400 offers greater self-service capabilities.  Linux based operating system enables maximum programming flexibility.  Push technology enables fast and efficient communication, remote diagnostic capability, and the ability for new firmware and application functionality to be upgraded remotely via an Ethernet connection, without removing the unit from the wall.    
  HandPunch 4000 The HandPunch 4000 features a built-in bar code reader which supports the most common barcode formats and allows for infrared badges.  Featuring 10 programmable data management keys to collect and display data as employees punch, employees are able to find out about their schedule, total hours worked, and more.  Built with memory for 530 users, expandable to 51,516, the HandPunch 4000 enables schedules by employee to restrict the times that an employee can punch.  This reduces unauthorized overtime as well as early "in" punches.  A separate schedule can be defined for EACH employee.  Edit at the clock functions and bell schedules and door control make this an incredibly versatile hand geometry reader.

  HandPunch 3000 Comprehensive biometric time and attendance terminal with memory for 512 users, expandable to 259,072 users.  Features two user-definable data management keys that enable you to collect data as employees punch.  Common uses include department transfers, tips collected, job codes or pay codes.  You can also enable employees to review their past punches, or to enter frequently used data such as in/out status.  HandPunch 3000 also features edit at the clock functions, bell schedules and door control, as well as modem or Ethernet communication options.  
  HandPunch 3000-E HandPunch 3000 with Ethernet connectivity and memory for up to 512 users (not expandable).
  HandPunch 2000 The HandPunch 2000 features two user-definable data management keys that enable you to collect data as employees punch.  Designed for up to 512 users (not expandable), the HandPunch 2000 connects quickly to the time and attendance host software terminal via a provided 50-foot RS-232 communication cable.  Optional modem is available for remote sites. 
  HandPunch 1000 With memory for 50 users, expandable to 512 users, the HandPunch 1000 provides an  affordable biometric time & attendance terminal for small businesses.  Enables for collection of in and out punches, plus allows easy connectivity to most any time & attendance application.  Small companies no longer need to worry about lost time cards, making new cards, or employees punching in for another employee.  Optional modem available.
  HandPunch 1000-E Affordable biometric time & attendance terminal for companies with 100 or fewer users (not expandable).  The HandPunch 1000-E comes with Ethernet communications as a standard feature, enables easy connectivity to most time & attendance applications.

  FX-ENCL  Constructed from high impact UV resistant polycarbonate material, the FX Enclosure provides a degree of protection against dusty, dirty, or rainy environments for the HandPunch F-Series Readers. This enclosure has been designed so that it can be added to an existing installation. When used with an integrated heater option (INT-HTR), it provides a comfortable heated platen against a cold climate.
  TX-ENCL  The TX Enclosure provides a higher degree of protection for F-Series HandPunch readers against dusty, dirty, or rainy environments.  When used with an integrated heater option (INT-HTR), it provides a comfortable heated platen against a cold climate.
