Types of System Components

Electric Strikes Electric strikes provide remote relaease of a locked door and allow a door to be opened without retracting the latch bolt.  Electric strikes can be used in standalone applications or as part of an access control system.
Electro-magnetic Locks An electromagnetic lock consists of an electromagnet and an armature plate.  The electromagnet is attached to the door frame and the armature plate to the door.  A current passing through the electromagnet attracts the armature plate, holding the door shut.  An electromagnetic lock does not have interconnecting parts, so it is not suitable for high security applications, as it can be bypassed.  However it is a durable lock, making it great for high traffic applications.
Power Supplies Ingersol Rand offers a variety of power supplies to be used in a various applicatoins to convert high voltage AC power into the low voltage DC outputs required by most acess control devices.
System Accessories System accessories includes a variety of devices that enable specific functionality wether in standalone applications or as part of a networked access control system.  The category includes pushbuttons, keyswitches, request to exit bars, monitoring stations & cosoles, exit sensors electric horns and more.
