Schlage, the leader in mechanical security, also offers the most flexible, adaptable and scalable line of electronic locks in the indsutry.  Electronic locks operate by means of electric current.  Credentials used to unlock electronic devices include, a code entered in a keypad, cards, fobs, or biometrics.  Electronic locks can provide increased key control and user convenience. 
 
Networked Locks Networked electronic locks are connected to an access control system.  They allow the system manager to easily change access rights and track movement throughout the facility from anywhere they are connected to the internet.
Standalone Locks Standalone electronic locks use the same credential (card, code, etc) as networked locks, however, they require the user to physically go to each lock to administer access rights and retrieve tracking information.
