OverviewSolutionsDownloadsResources

A variety of AD-Series accessories are available to help you complete your system. These include panel interface modules, wireless test kit, wireless remote antennas, relay board, wireless portable reader, and more. These accessories allow you to extend the reach of your access control system.

Panel Interface Module (PIM400-TD2): If the system requires Wiegand or Clock & Data protocol (rather than a direct RS485 connection), the PIM400-TD2  is used to seamlessly connect up to two AD-Series locks to an access control panel or reader interface board.

Panel Interface Module (PIM400-485): Seamlessly integrates up to 16 wireless AD-Series devices to select OEM partners’ access control panels via RS485 protocols, which eliminate the need for additional reader interface modules.  Please consult your software provider for more information.

Wireless Test Kit (TK400): The TK400 wireless test kit can help evaluate the system design on new AD-400 wireless networked systems prior to installation. The TK400 can also be used to diagnose communication strength on existing AD-400 wireless applications.

Wireless Remote Antennas (ANT400-REM): The ANT400-REM optional remote antennas are designed for use with the AD-400 Series devices. They increase installation flexibility of wireless products, extend the range of wireless communication in certain directions and expand the range of applications of AD-Series solution.

Relay Board (RLBD): The AD-Series Relay Board (RLBD) supports the open architecture of AD-Series by building a bridge between Schlage technology and third party access control systems that use mechanical, relay-based communication.  The RLBD is used to extend the existing access point status signals on PIM400-TD2 (for AD-400 applications) or PIB300-2D (for AD-300 applications) devices for each access point controlled by the Interface Module.

Wireless Portable Reader (WPR400): The WPR400 was designed to extend a facility’s access control to remote locations, at a moment’s notice.  The WPR400 is a portable device that utilizes the same credential reader module as an AD-Series electronic lock. The WPR400 can be held by hand or placed in a convenient temporary location to allow for credential verification.

Wireless Reader Interface (WRI400): The WRI400 is a networked access point controller that was designed to provide real-time wireless access control to traditional “around the door” electronic access control components, as well as creating wireless access control solutions for remote gates and elevators. It extends the AD-400 access control platform to applications that require networked control of wall-mounted credential readers and traditional electronic access control technology such as electronic strikes or magnetic locks.

Wireless Gate Kit (GCK400):  An AD-Series Gate Control Kit is a pre-packaged kit that eliminates the need for trenching in gate control applications by providing a wireless solution; which reduces installation time and cost. The GCK400 contains a Wireless Reader Interface (WRI400), a Panel Interface Module (PIM400-TD2), an indoor/outdoor remote antenna (ANT400-REM-I/O), a PIM400 power supply and the required grounding kit for outdoor applications.

Wireless Elevator Control Kit (ECK400): This pre-packaged kit that eliminates the need for traveling cables in elevator access control applications by providing a wireless solution; which reduces installation time and cost. The ECK400 contains a Wireless Reader Interface (WRI400), a Panel Interface Module (PIM400-TD2), an indoor/outdoor remote antenna (ANT400-REM-I/O), and a PIM400 power supply.

Wireless Repeater (RPT400): The AD-Series Repeater Kit is ideal for overcoming obstructions and extending wireless communication range between an AD-Series PIM400 device and a linked wireless device such as an AD-400 electronic lock or WRI400. The RPT400 is comprised of an AD-Series Panel Interface Module (PIM400-TD2) and a Wireless Reader Interface (WRI400).

Wireless Status Monitor (WSM400)-coming soon: The WSM400 is a battery-powered wireless status monitor that reports in real-time any condition change caused by a contact closure or opening. While the WSM400 is most often used to monitor door position or to activate a local siren, the WSM400 can also monitor other inputs from devices like glass breakage and temperature sensors.
