The AD-Series was designed with you in mind.  We conducted voice of customer research with over 800 security professionals.  Key findings guided our engineering and development.   Here are some of the design elements that were incorporated as a result of voice of customer feedback!

 
Open Architecture:  Designed to easily integrate into your existing access control systems with a variety of offline and networked communication options. 

Reliable:  Meets all ANSI/BHMA A156.25 Grade 1 requirements and is the first integrated electronic locking platform to be UL294 listed. 

Upgradeable:  Migrate to new credential readers or network communication modules in minutes; no need to take the lock off of the door.

Integrated Functionality:  Standard status monitors include door position contacts, request-to-exit, request-to-enter, deadbolt position, lock/unlock status, battery status, communication status, mechanical key override, and interior tamper guard.

Field Configurable Options:  Features that are selectable at the lock include communication and power failure modes (fail safe/fail secure/fail as is), lock memory capacity,  audio feedback and more.

Credential Reader Options:  Choose from 11 different reader options including keypad, magnetic stripe (insert and swipe), proximity (125 kHz), smart card (13.56 MHz) and multi-technology (reads both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz).  All card readers available with keypad for card + PIN security.

Key System Compatibility:  Accepts many popular models of standard, SFIC and FSIC cylinders.

Exit Device Compatibility:  Utilizes universal hardware to simplify installation to a variety of exit devices.

Styles and Finishes:  Available with 4 different lever styles and 8 different architectural finishes including satin chrome, satin nickel, aged bronze.  Anti-microbial coating available on satin chrome.

Consistent Feature Set:  Common footprint, chassis options, reader options, locking functions, lever styles and finishes across the platform

Proven:  Based upon the proven ND-Series and L-Series mechanical platforms.
