Instructions for downloading installation videos onto HHD

General Guideline: The HHD can hold up to 5 videos at a time depending on file size

1. Download the .wmv files listed on this page; save them into a folder on your desktop.
2. Connect your HHD to your computer – using the proprietary USB cable.
3. Wait for Active Sync to open and for synchronization to occur.
4. In the Active Sync window double click on the “files” line in the lower part of the window
5. Click on the “Add” box.
6. In the new window find the folder where you saved the .wmv files and open it.
7. Choose the video you want and click on “open” – you can only choose one at a time.
8. To choose another one repeat steps 5, 6 and 7.
9. Once you have chosen all the files you need, click “OK “.
10. The Active Sync window will reappear and the sync process should begin.
11. Once this process is completed (it may take some time depending on how many files you have transferred) turn on the HHD.
12. In the top left corner of the HHD screen click on the “Windows flag” and a drop down menu will appear.
13. Click on “File Explorer”. The “My Documents” list will appear. Using the bar on the right, scroll down to find which video you need and click on your choice.
14. Windows media will automatically open and the video will start playing.
15. To increase the volume you can use the silver button on the left of the unit – also try the volume icons on the right at the bottom of the screen – 100% is the max.
16. To watch in “full screen” click on the furthest left hand icon under the timer and turn the HHD clockwise. When in full screen mode a simple touch of the screen will take you back to the regular screen and you will find all your controls again.
17. To stop the video press pause.
18. To exit, click the X button at the top right of the screen (you must press pause if exiting in the middle of the video or the audio will continue in the background). You will be automatically redirected to your file list.
19. Click X again to go back to main HHD intro screen.

Notes – it is advisable not to store more than 120 MB of videos at any one time on the HHD as there may be other forthcoming updates for the SUS – which would of course take precedence.
